PUBG Update 23.1 – New Ranked Season, Survivor Pass & More!

PUBG is back again with a power-packed 23.1 update – faster zones, fresh loot, a new Ranked season, and of course, the much-awaited Survivor Pass. This patch is all about speed, intensity, and making every headshot feel even more satisfying.

Let’s jump straight into what’s new 👇

Normal Matches Got a Boost 🚗💨

The classic maps – Erangel, Miramar, Taego, and Deston – just got some spicy updates:

Blue Zone in early phases is faster, like Ranked.
Loot buff! More ARs, DMRs, SRs, helmets, vests, backpacks, and scopes.
More vehicles (including fixed spawn spots).
Motor Gliders now on Taego, Vikendi, and Deston.
Plane routes & final circle logic tweaked to match Ranked.

Ranked – Season 23 🎖️

Deston joins the Ranked pool – finally!
Matches now have 64 players with sunny weather.
Red Zone, Tactical Gear, and Security Keys? Gone.
Fixed vehicle spawns, O12 + MP9 added.
Leaderboards reset with new rewards waiting.

Season 22 Rewards Recap

Depending on your final tier, here’s what you get:

Bronze–Gold: PUBG ID Emblems (+ Parachute Skin from Gold).
Platinum–Diamond: Animated Emblems, Parachute Skins, and Medals.
Master & Top 500: Exclusive animated Emblems + Nameplates + Medals.

👉 Parachute Skins & Medals = permanent. Other rewards = seasonal.

New Items & Gameplay Tweaks 🔥

BZ Grenades → Taego & Deston
Folded Shields → All maps
Emergency Pickups → Erangel, Miramar, Taego
Motor Gliders → Taego & Deston

Headshot Lovers, Rejoice 💀

Land a clean headshot → Helmet literally flies off when it breaks.
Ascender + Utility Parachute = now default gear.
Emergency Parachute removed (no need anymore).
Disconnected before plane? Don’t worry – your parachute auto-follows the next player.

Map Rotations 🌍

Ranked Pool: Erangel (30%) / Miramar (30%) / Taego (30%) / Deston (10%).
PC & Console weekly rotations between Erangel, Miramar, Taego, Vikendi, Sanhok, Paramo, and Karakin.

Modes Update 🕹️

Labs: Intense Battle Royale

New areas in Vikendi + Sanhok.
Blizzard Zone removed.
AUG added to weapon crate.

Esports Mode

Now same rules as Ranked for that pro vibe.
Deston & Taego added, Sanhok removed.
Supports up to 100 players (default 64).

UI/UX Changes 🎧

Easier vehicle skin selection.
Voice Chat toggle (PC: press T).
“Mic muted” icon visible for teammates.
Lobby reset → from Vikendi theme back to default plane theme.

Survivor Pass: The Big Score 🎟️

Leveling feels smoother.
More XP from playtime + weekly missions.
Daily playtime XP cap boosted.
Slightly less XP from daily missions.

Performance & Bug Fixes 🛠️

Vaulting smoother.
Optimized sound memory usage.
Less hitching when opening Inventory.
Tons of bug fixes (Molotov flames, FPP carry view, Motor Glider visibility, map glitches, outfit clipping, and more).
